August 4, 2022 - Tower Health hospitals have received a total of eight American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines achievement awards for demonstrating commitment to following up-to-date, research-based guidelines for the treatment of heart disease and stroke, saving more lives, shortening recovery times, and reducing readmissions to the hospital.
August 3, 2022 - On Monday, August 1, The Friends of Reading Hospital (The Friends) hosted 80 golfers at the Reading Hospital Golf Classic at the Berkshire Country Club in Reading. The event raised $75,000 to help fund the Warm Handoff program at the Reading Hospital Emergency Department.
August 1, 2022 - MyTowerHealth now offers "Fast Pass" for new patients at Tower Health Medical Group Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics. This new feature allows patients to move appointments to an earlier date or time in the event of a cancellation.

July 28, 2022 - Tower Health announced today that Ethel Hoffman, MBA, FHFMA, has joined the health system as Vice President of Managed Care. She previously served as the Interim Vice President of Managed Care through her consulting position with Warbird Consulting Partners, LLC.
July 26, 2022 - Reading Hospital has been recognized as a 2022-2023 Best Hospital by U.S. News & World Report, ranked eighth in Pennsylvania and recognized in Northeastern PA/Lehigh Valley. In addition, Phoenixville Hospital earned a 2022-2023 High Performing rating for COPD and Pottstown Hospital earned 2022-2023 High Performing ratings for COPD and Kidney Failure.
July 21, 2022 - As blood centers across the US continue to face critical shortages of blood donations, Tower Health will host three upcoming blood donation events.
July 19, 2022 - Tower Health is adding 162 Residents and Fellows with students from 96 medical schools in the United States and internationally. The new Residents and Fellows will arrive in June for orientation and then officially begin their trainings on either July 1 or August 1, 2022.
