April 10, 2023 - Reading Hospital will celebrate its commitment to building awareness and support for organ donation by raising a "2023 Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) Donate Life Challenge" flag on Wednesday, April 12.

April 7, 2023 -  Each day, 17 people in the United States die while waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. All Tower Health hospitals are pleased to join Gift of Life Donor Program to promote organ and tissue donation throughout April as part of National Donate Life Month. 

April 6, 2023 - Reading Hospital has been included on Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals 2023.

March 31, 2023 - In recognition of Brain Injury Awareness Month, Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing (RHRW) is hosting an education event on Saturday, April 1, from 8 a.m. to noon. 

March 13, 2023 - Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing industry sectors in the nation, and there is a critical need to increase the number of students pursuing careers in the field. To meet this need, Reading Hospital created “Pathways Programs” to expose area students to the many healthcare careers available in the health system.

March 8, 2023 - Reading Hospital Foundation recently hosted a donor recognition event with Tony Forino, Founder and CEO of Forino Co., L.P., a grateful patient who donated to the Foundation for McGlinn Cancer Institute (MCI).

March 6, 2023 - With leadership from the Reading Hospital Magnet Champions Team, Reading Hospital employees have donated approximately 35,000 items to Helping Harvest as part of its 2023 Piece Per Person Food Challenge. 

February 27, 2023 - Reading Hospital continues to host Mobile Mammography Coach screening events for all women 40 years and older, as well as those under 40 who are considered high-risk, are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding, and have not had a screening mammogram in the past year.

February 23, 2023 -  On Friday, February 24, Tower Health will recognize “Thank a Resident and Fellow Day.” This special day honors Residents and Fellows for their commitment, dedication, and the positive impact they have on the lives of patients.

February 9, 2023 - On Saturday, February 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Community Health Committee of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Reading Hospital, will host a Community Health Fair at Centro Hispano, 25 N 2nd Street in Reading. Spanish and English providers will be present at the event.
