February 1, 2023 - On Friday, February 3, Tower Health will recognize National Women Physicians Day. This date marks the birthday of legendary physician Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, an influential figure who, in 1849, changed the profession of medicine by becoming the first American woman to earn a medical degree.

January 24, 2023 - The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP), a statewide membership services organization that advocates for the health and well-being of all Pennsylvanians citizens, has announced the appointment of Michelle Trupp, Chief Operating Officer (COO), of Reading Hospital, to its board of directors for a three-year term effective January 1, 2023.
