August 18, 2023 - St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Drexel University, and Peirce College are working together to collaborate on academic programs that support career transition. Expanding access for adult learners interested in advancing their education also develops a more diverse pipeline of talent for regional employers. 

July 28, 2023 – For the 13th year, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children celebrated the last days of summer with a Back-to-School Carnival for patients and families in the community. Featuring games, music, food, the Phillie Fanatic, and the distribution of thousands of free backpacks stuffed with school supplies. 

June 12, 2023 - St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children’s 10th Annual Bike Safety Rodeo was held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in the hospital’s parking lot. Dozens of kids and families from the community took part in the fun event.

May 18, 2023 -  EMS providers are truly at the front lines of healthcare. They are the first to arrive in emergency situations, providing critical care and lifesaving interventions to those in need.

May 11, 2023 -  Nurses make an impact on patients every day through the excellent and compassionate care they provide in hospitals, outpatient clinics, physician practices, in patients’ homes, and throughout the community.

April 19, 2023 - During National Volunteer Week, Tower Health honors the many individuals who selflessly donate their time and talent to help the health system fulfill its mission of service to patients and the community. 

April 18, 2023 -  Tower Health will join healthcare organizations around the world in recognizing "Pediatric Sepsis Week" April 16 through 22. In the United States, 75,000 children are diagnosed with sepsis and 6,800 children die every year.

April 12, 2023 -  Most Americans believe it's important to have a record of their healthcare preferences available, should they become unable to share that information. That's why Tower Health supports National Healthcare Decisions Day, which takes place on Sunday, April 16.

April 11, 2023 - Tower Health successfully filled all its open residency slots, adding 108 residents in 12 residency programs with students from 63 medical schools in the United States and internationally.

April 7, 2023 -  Each day, 17 people in the United States die while waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. All Tower Health hospitals are pleased to join Gift of Life Donor Program to promote organ and tissue donation throughout April as part of National Donate Life Month.
