April 10, 2024 - Tower Health will welcome a select 108 residents this summer after receiving nearly 16,000 applications. The newest class of residents will join the organization’s 12 ACGME-accredited Residency Programs in July 2024.

February 14, 2024 - St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children today announced a change in leadership as Don Mueller shared his plans to resign from his role as president and CEO. Robert Brooks, the current chief operating officer (COO) at St. Christopher’s, will transition during the coming months into the role of president and COO.

February 6, 2024 - With firearms remaining the leading cause of injury and death in children, the nation’s largest regional collaboration of health systems, representing 59 hospitals in Philadelphia, Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey, is kicking off the year with a public service campaign that encourages a community approach to protecting children from unlocked guns.

February 2, 2024 - The Injury Prevention Coordinator at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children provides four bath safety tips for babies and toddlers to prevent incidents and injuries.

January 31, 2024 - Tower Health entities are pleased to announce that Rohinton Morris, M.D. FACS, a nationally respected cardiac surgeon, will become the system’s Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery this spring. 

January 22, 2024 - With maternal mortality rates on the rise across the United States and in Pennsylvania, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has designated January 23 as Maternal Health Awareness Day. The theme for 2024 is 'Access in Crisis'.

January 18, 2024 - As the nation marked what would have been the 95th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on Monday, January 15, employees participated in special Day of Service projects that honored his legacy and also benefited our patients and the communities we serve.

December 22, 2023 - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, in partnership with the non-profit Kelly’s Kidz, facilitated a huge toy donation to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children on Monday, December 18, 2023. The donation was distributed to patients receiving treatment at the hospital throughout the holiday season. 

December 20, 2023 - Philadelphia 76ers star Paul Reed and Philadelphia Union co-owner Joe Greco delivered toys to brighten up the holidays for patients at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

December 13, 2023 - On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, Philadelphia Eagles running back D’Andre Swift teamed up with Dunkin’ to gift the joy of donuts to patients at St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital this holiday season.
