"The employee softball league is a fun and healthy way to bring our hospital community together," says William M. Jennings, President and CEO. "It's a great opportunity for employees to engage and bond with each other in an active, recreational context."

A total of 22 teams have registered for the league this year. Departments participating include Radiation Oncology, Community Health, Emergency Department, Operating Room, Environmental Services, Nursing, and others. Each team consists of fifteen to twenty employees, putting the total number of players at more than 430 hospital employees.
