The Reading Hospital Foundation has named Alec Reinert as Director of Stewardship. In this leadership role, he will develop comprehensive fundraising strategies and raise awareness about the tremendous impact of the Foundation’s philanthropic efforts.
A Berks County native with a background in donor relations and development, Mr. Reinert will cultivate ongoing support for the Foundation. Through his professional network, he will establish partnerships with community organizations, schools, and universities to plan events and fundraisers.
“The Foundation is an incredible resource,” Mr. Reinert said. “I want to make sure those in Berks County and beyond are aware of the impactful work we do because our projects and programs directly benefit our patients, team members, and the community.”
Mr. Reinert brings more than 10 years of fundraising experience to the Reading Hospital Foundation. He most recently held the Executive Director role at the Sparks Foundation. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Kutztown University.
An active community volunteer, he is a member of the Schuylkill Valley Education Foundation. He was previously a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Berks Chapter and the Greater Reading Mental Health Alliance.
