January 28, 2025 - Alexa Martinez, a senior at Muhlenberg High School, has always been passionate about helping others. To her, a career in healthcare offers the opportunity to do just that, while also being a part of something that directly improves a person’s well-being.

January 24, 2025 - Tower Health hosted its first-ever Shark Tank: Tower Health Edition this week, and the friendly business pitch competition made a splash with employees. The brainchild of Michael Stern, incoming president and CEO at the health system, the competition was designed to encourage innovation, boost employee engagement, and add fun into the workplace.

Michael Stern, FACHE, has been promoted to Tower Health President and CEO, effective February 24, 2025. P. Sue Perrotty has chosen to return to the Tower Health Board of Directors.

October 23, 2024 - The Reading Hospital Foundation has named Alec Reinert as Director of Stewardship. In this leadership role, he will develop comprehensive fundraising strategies and raise awareness about the tremendous impact of the Foundation’s philanthropic efforts.

August 20, 2024 - As part of Reading Hospital’s 15th annual “Stuff the Bus” project, employees generously donated thousands of classroom supplies for Reading School District students and teachers.
