March 13, 2023 - Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing industry sectors in the nation, and there is a critical need to increase the number of students pursuing careers in the field. To meet this need, Reading Hospital created “Pathways Programs” to expose area students to the many healthcare careers available in the health system.

March 6, 2023 - With leadership from the Reading Hospital Magnet Champions Team, Reading Hospital employees have donated approximately 35,000 items to Helping Harvest as part of its 2023 Piece Per Person Food Challenge. 

March 2, 2023 - On Wednesday, March 8, Debra Powell, MD, Interim Chair, Department of Medicine, Chief, Division of Infectious Disease, and Medical Director, Infection Prevention, at Reading Hospital, will host a special "Good Thyme for Life" dining event from 5 to 9 p.m. at Saucony Creek Franklin Station, 692 Franklin Street, Reading.

February 23, 2023 -  On Friday, February 24, Tower Health will recognize “Thank a Resident and Fellow Day.” This special day honors Residents and Fellows for their commitment, dedication, and the positive impact they have on the lives of patients.

February 16, 2023 - Tower Health Medical Group Surgery is pleased to announce that Dalkeith Facey, DO, FACOS, FACS, MBA; and Scott Grant, MD, M. Bioethics, FACS, have joined their practice. Both surgeons are on the Medical Staff at Phoenixville Hospital and Pottstown Hospital.

January 24, 2023 - The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP), a statewide membership services organization that advocates for the health and well-being of all Pennsylvanians citizens, has announced the appointment of Michelle Trupp, Chief Operating Officer (COO), of Reading Hospital, to its board of directors for a three-year term effective January 1, 2023.

December 1, 2022 - Reading Hospital is offering tuition scholarships for School of Health Sciences (SOHS) students interested in a career in nursing, diagnostic medical sonography, surgical technology, or medical imaging.

October 25, 2022 - Tower Health announced today that three of the system’s hospitals have been recognized for their outstanding clinical outcomes by Healthgrades, the leading marketplace connecting doctors and patients.

October 11, 2022 -  On Wednesday, October 12, Tower Health will host its second annual Research Day. The event showcases the recent scholarly activity of Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students across the health system through poster and podium presentations.

June 21, 2022 - Eight Tower Health physicians and residents were recognized at the 27th Annual Golden Apple Awards by the Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM) student body.
