October 10, 2024 - The Reading Hospital Foundation has named Alec Reinert as the Director of Stewardship. In this leadership role, he will develop comprehensive fundraising strategies and raise awareness about the tremendous impact of the Foundation’s philanthropy efforts.

October 10, 2024 - When you see the Reading Hospital Mobile Mammography Coach traveling throughout Berks County and surrounding areas, make sure you wave to Cecilia Carpenter, the coach driver who is helping the hospital provide easier access to annual screening mammograms.

October 7, 2024 - Reading Hospital has received certification as an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center from The Joint Commission. With this accreditation, Reading Hospital is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in the region and is also listed among the top 5 percent of accredited centers in the nation. 

October 1, 2024 - The opening of a new cardiac catheterization laboratory (cath lab) at Reading Hospital will help meet the region's growing demand for heart procedures and enable more patients to be treated and diagnosed each day.

September 16, 2024 - Four members of the Tower Health-Reading Hospital team have received national recognition from Becker’s Hospital Review for their professional accomplishments

August 29, 2024 - For the second consecutive year, Becker's Hospital Review 2024 has listed Reading Hospital as one of the “Great Hospitals in America.” 

August 26, 2024 - All four Tower Health hospitals receive statewide recognition for their efforts to support and raise awareness during The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania’s (HAP) 2024 Donate Life Pennsylvania Hospital Challenge. 

August 9, 2024 - This week Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM) at Tower Health welcomed the Class of 2028. This is the fourth class to begin their medical school journey at the West Reading Campus.
