June 16, 2022 - On December 31, 2021, Berks County resident Cory Heckman, age 31, was admitted to Pottstown Hospital for treatment of COVID-19. One hundred and forty-nine days later, Cory went home under his own power. 

June 15, 2022 - Tower Health announced today that Desha Dickson has been named Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Community Wellness.

June 9, 2022 - Tower Health announced today that all 26 Tower Health Urgent Care facilities have achieved Accreditation from the Urgent Care Association (UCA), which is the highest level of distinction for urgent care centers.

June 8, 2022 - Tower Health announced Thomas Bartiromo as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Mr. Bartiromo will lead the following IT teams: Service Desk, Field Services, Media Services, Client Systems, Voice System Engineering, Network Engineering, and Systems Engineering.

June 1, 2022 - Tower Health announced today that Christine Keithly, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, has been promoted to Vice President for Nursing Administration & Operations.

May 31, 2022 - Heather Baum, CRNP, became a patient at Tower Health Weight Loss and Wellness Center and lost a total of 141 pounds. When she learned the Weight Loss Center was looking for a nurse practitioner, she was immediately interested. 10 weeks into her new position, Heather likes being a part of the care team that helped her change her life.

May 11, 2022 - Tower Health announced today that Brian Lahmann, MD, has been appointed the Physician Leader for Emergency Medicine at Tower Health.

April 29, 2022 - Fernando Garcia, MD, has been named Chair, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Reading Hospital and Medical Director, Pathology Service Line for Tower Health. In this role, he is responsible for providing medical leadership and program development for the Department, as well as integrating and evolving Pathology services provided across Tower Health.

April 22, 2022 - Tower Health will host a career fair and ice cream social on Saturday, April 23 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the Reading Hospital at the 6th Avenue (Clock Tower) Entrance on the hospital's main campus in West Reading.
