March 20, 2025 - Reading Hospital recently teamed up with The Junior League of Reading and Berks Teens to host a free event focused on menstrual equity and period positivity called “Let’s Talk, Period.”

February 10, 2025 - Recently, 25 emergency medicine residents from Reading Hospital, five medical students from Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health, and members of the Residency Core Faculty partnered with United Airlines for hands-on simulation training aboard an aircraft.

The brainchild of Michael Stern, incoming president and CEO at the health system, the competition was designed to encourage innovation, boost employee engagement, and add fun into the workplace.

November 14, 2024 - Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing offers seven support groups for numerous diagnoses and life-altering situations, including aphasia, stroke, brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease and a caregiver support group.

There is a hidden gem for those diagnosed with cancer - located right inside Reading Hospital. When patients enter the Image Recovery Center, they are greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. They might not realize it yet, but they're about to embark on an experience staff describe as magical. 

November 19, 2024 - Everyone is fighting their own battle, but there’s no rule that says we must fight alone. In fact, asking for help is one of the most courageous things a person can do. The mothers who participate in the Reading Hospital’s Soft Landing Program exhibit this bravery every day.
